Projects are the foundation of your work in SprintKit. Each project represents a distinct body of work with its own timeline, team members, and deliverables.
To create a project:
Milestones help you track major deliverables and key dates within your project. Use them to break down large projects into manageable phases.
Tip: Create milestones for major releases, project phases, or important deadlines. You can mark milestones as complete as you progress through your project.
Add links to important resources like design files, documentation, repositories, or any other external tools your team needs to access.
Issues represent individual tasks, bugs, features, or any work items that need to be completed within a project.
Key features:
Use comments to discuss issues, ask questions, provide updates, and collaborate with your team. Comments support rich text formatting to help you communicate effectively.
Invite team members to your workspace and manage their access and permissions.
To invite members:
Communicate with team members directly through the built-in messaging system. Access messages from the sidebar or use the floating message bubble for quick conversations.
Stay updated with notifications for issues, mentions, and project updates. Customize your notification preferences in Settings.
Tip: You can configure which events trigger notifications and choose between email and in-app notifications.
Customize SprintKit to match your team's workflow:
Update your profile information, upload a profile photo, and manage your personal preferences in Settings → Profile.
Break large tasks into smaller, manageable issues. This makes it easier to track progress and assign work.
Establish a labeling system and use it consistently across your team to make filtering and searching easier.
Use due dates to create urgency, but make sure they're achievable to maintain team morale and quality.
Use project updates and comments to keep everyone informed. Regular communication prevents surprises.
